The details that matter.
What counts as a managed component?
A resource with its own lifecycle can count: an app service, database, queue, bucket or job. Replicas of one service count once. Monk counts the components when you first connect your application.
How do previews and shared resources count?
Separate environments can add managed components and cloud costs. Confirm temporary previews, shared services, stopped resources and the measurement period with Monk before relying on a monthly total.
What if I need more than my plan allows?
The calculator automatically selects the smallest plan that fits your component count. You can also choose a higher plan for its controls. Beyond 500 components, Enterprise offers custom capacity and pricing.
What happens between agent sessions?
The orchestrator automatically recovers workloads within configured policies. Watcher adds AI diagnosis; its proposed fixes need your approval. The Free plan includes configured workload recovery, without Watcher AI diagnosis.
Can I get a count before committing?
Yes. Monk counts the components in your application on first use, including on Free. You can review the count before choosing a paid plan.
